You can make City on the Hill even better! My goal for City on the Hill is to make it the best place on the internet to find information and photos of Harrisburg State Hospital. I do this by devoting my spare time to doing research online and at the PA State Archives, searching antique malls and eBay for reports, postcards, and photos, and by visiting the hospital campus in person. There is always more to discover about a hospital as old as Harrisburg State Hospital and I'm asking for your help. There are many ways for you to contribute to the website. Maybe you know something that isn't on the website, an interesting fact about the hospital or one of it's buildings. If you are a former employee or patient, perhaps you have a memory or story that you would like to share. If you are a DGS employee that currently works at the former hospital campus you can contribute through photos or information on what is going on at the former hospital.
