this website nor it's owner are affiliated with the Harrisburg State
Hospital. City on the Hill is intended for historical research and
entertainment purposes only. Please do not contact me with requests
to tour, visit, or photograph the former hospital as I do not have
the authority to grant your requests. Currently the campus and
buildings are still owned and occupied by the state of Pennsylvania,
trespassing on the grounds is illegal and you will be arrested for
doing so. There are currently NO public
tours of any kind offered at the former hospital. I do not have any
information on specific patients or staff. If you are looking for
patient records please refer to the Pennsylvania State Archives
information on THIS page. For
